Hi, I have some questions about promotion videos. Someones ask me to do it and they told me how much would it cost and I really didn’t knew what to tell them. They sounded really interested because they saw one video I made for the school Car Wash promoting it and they really like it but I really didn’t know how much a promotion video cost. So the first question is, how much a promotion video cost? and the second one is: Which is the best video maker program to use? I use iMovie for Mac. I hope you guys can answer me my question as fast as you can can. Thanks!

    Hi Jose,
The answer to how much does a promotional video cost is like asking how much does a car cost. There are so may different kinds that the cost can range from $100 to $10,000.

A good basic market price for a promo video is usually $399 to $999, but charge according to what you think is appropriate and fair. So you need to figure out what it will take to produce your video.

The best video editing program for the mac is Final Cut Pro, but you can use iMovie if you want. You will be very limited in your editing capabilities using iMovie, since it is a very basic program. Good video editing programs for windows OS are Premiere or Vegas.

Contract me with any more questions. Good Luck to you!
